Harry Styles: Kendall Jenner A Threat To The Future of One Direction??

Harry Styles celebrated his 20th birthday yesterday! Although his One Direction cohorts offered their forthright birthday wishes, it doesn’t change the fact that there has been much speculation of tension in the band behind closed doors.

Unfortunately, it appears all roads lead to Styles’ girlfriend Kendall Jenner. The budding couple reportedly spent his birthday together yesterday at her father Bruce Jenner’s Malibu, California mansion. While the day was probably quite romantic, several media outlets have reported that Styles’ alleged problems with the band stem from his inability to balance work and pleasure.

Back in December, Hollywood Life reported that Styles allegedly ditched his 1D bandmates in Paris, as he jetted to London where he met the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star for a one-night rendezvous. While the gesture seemed quite romantic, it may have been a foreboding of contention ahead.

A source close to the band recently spoke with OK! Magazine to shed light on the band’s latest debacle. “Kendall’s a sweet girl, but [the band] sees her as a bigger threat than Taylor Swift ever was,” a source told the publication.

The insider added, “She seems to have cast a spell over Harry and it’s disrupting other areas of his life because he’s always wanting to spend time with her or chat with her on the phone when they’re apart. It’s causing a lot of unrest.”

It has also been reported that Styles and Jenner’s relationship has taken such a toll on the band that some of their verbal sparring has almost escalated to physical altercations.

“The other day, Harry and Niall [Horan] almost came to blows when Niall confronted Harry when he showed up late for a meeting,” the same source said. “Things got out of hand before Zayn [Malik] stepped in to break them up.”

While rumors of One Direction disbandment have been circulating for months, recent reports are insinuating that the group’s latest turmoil is directly associated with Styles’ relationship with Jenner. Will Kendall Jenner be the downfall of One Direction? Only time will tell!
