Ariana Grande Supports Justin Bieber, Calls Twitter Ridicule ‘Ignorant’ [Video]

Ariana Grande isn’t at all happy with the way folks at treating Justin Bieber these days.

Although some folks firmly believe the troubled pop star is essentially asking for internet ridicule following his recent behavior, Grande feels that people are taking their mean-spirited barbs a little too far. Since Justin is definitely going through something serious at the moment, Ariana wants everyone to just back off for a second.

The Sam & Cat star shared her thoughts about Justin Bieber and the hateful backlash during a recent chat with the folks at MIX 104.1. Ariana Grande doesn’t believe any of those supposedly humorous posts on social media are very funny.

“I think it’s really serious. I’ve seen tweets of people making fun of the mug shot and all this stuff, and it’s so ignorant. It’s gotten to a point where I just want him to be okay. It’s this very serious thing. And it’s not just like a kid who’s, you know, screwing around. It’s dangerous. It’s very serious and upsetting,” Grande said.

She added, “I don’t think it’s something to make fun of anymore. I don’t think it’s funny anymore… He’s a great person and a very talented boy and I want the best for him. He’s the most visible and yet isolated human being I’ve ever met.”

Ariana Grande definitely knows a thing or two about internet ridicule. The singer almost lost her composure on the red carpet at the 2014 Grammy Awards after she read some very harsh comments about her outfit on Twitter. Although she managed to put on a strong front, it’s clear from the photos that Grande was struggling to keep it together.

“She’s still not completely comfortable on carpets and she made the mistake of looking at Twitter. This blogger attacked her dress but also went after her hair and then more people started piling on. It was just mean. Ariana was like, ‘Why am I even here?'” an anonymous source recently told the folks at E! Online.

The Inquisitr previously reported that Justin Bieber is facing an assault charge for allegedly striking a limo driver during an altercation in Canada last month. The pop star was also recently arrested in Miami, Florida for reportedly driving under the influence.
