Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux Married? Don’t Believe The Hype
If Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux aren’t calling off their engagement then they have to be secretly married, right? Well, that’s what some people ran with after an Instagram photo of an alleged marriage license started floating around the internet. That said, it’s been confirmed that the document is definitely faux.
The media along with Aniston’s passionate fan base went a bit nuts when an Instagram photo from an alleged Dean C. Logan of the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder and County Clerk’s office released a revealing image of supposed paperwork that the couple had filled out before their reported marriage. The filing of papers is routine and usually happens a month before the actual ceremony.
Unfortunately or fortunately depending on what side of the fence you’re on, the Instagram photo that emerged has reported as fake and doesn’t belong to Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux. Elizabeth Knox, the office’s Public Information Officer was available for comment when E! reached out to her for official information. Of the fake paper work she said, “somebody created and posted a fake Instagram page and we found it at 2 p.m. yesterday.”
Of the fake Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux marriage license, Knox said:
“It is not published by our department and that is a fake Instagram account that does not belong to Dean. It has been reported to Instagram.”
So it seems as though Justin Theroux and Jennifer Aniston are still happy with just being each other’s fiance. As the two dated they were extremely vocal about each other but things have quieted down amid rumors that the two were breaking up. The last we heard from Theroux was through a GQ interview from October.
At the time Theroux said of his very public life with mega star Jennifer Aniston:
“It’s a bit like going to a slightly different altitude, you know? When I get complimented on the street about having twins—that’s weird, too.”
Also weird is dealing with the high profile life and the attention that follows in the form of pesky paparazzi. Instead of complaining about the paparazzi, Theroux took the high road by jokingly referring to them as “photojournalists.”
As for Aniston, the last time she spoke about her impending nuptials was back in August. Instead of giving details, the We’re The Millers actress opted to address immediate rumors surrounding the wedding:
“I’ve had helicopters dive bombing the house today. No wedding this weekend!”
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux have been engaged since August of 2012. Theroux popped the question during his own birthday party in New York.
