Danica Patrick brought out the big guns for her recent GoDaddy Super Bowl commercial.
Before we begin, let’s get one thing straight: Danica Patrick is wearing a body suit for the ad you’re about to watch. However, do not let that get in the way of your enjoyment of the spot. It’s pretty bizarre watching her run around with a ton of muscles. In fact, it’s almost hypnotic.
Instead of having a nerd make out with a supermodel, GoDaddy decided to employ a number of extremely buff gentlemen wearing very little clothing. As the guys make their way down the street, an extremely muscular Danica Patrick joins the race.
Their destination: a spray tan salon.
According to the Los Angeles Times , the body suit Patrick wears in the GoDaddy spot was crafted by the folks over at Legacy Effects . The company is also responsible for the practical efforts work found in such motion pictures as Alice in Wonderland , Iron Man 3 , and X-Men: Days of Future Past . In other words, there’s a reason why it looks so real.
If you’ve watched the Super Bowl for any length of time, then you’re already aware that Danica Patrick spends a lot of time in commercials that air during the annual sporting event. The upcoming GoDaddy spot marks her 13th ad, which is the current record for celebrities.
GoDaddy isn’t the only company putting some muscle behind its Super Bowl XLVIII spot. The Inquisitr previously reported that Arnold Schwarzenegger signed on to appear alongside other Hollywood celebrities for a Bud Light spot slated to run during the game.
Although we don’t know how much Danica Patrick scored to star her commercial, Schwarzenegger reportedly brought home a check for approximately $3 million for his involvement with the Super Bowl spot.
