Dwayne Johnson VS Undertaker Was Planned For WWE WrestleMania 30
Dwayne Johnson VS The Undertaker? WWE fans would have loved this WrestleMania 30 match, but unfortunately it’s not to be due to a twist of fate.
In a related report by The Inquisitr, it’s rumored that The Rock may play the hulking cyborg in Terminator: Genesis, a reboot of the sci-fi classic. While that’s uncertain, we do know for sure Johnson will be starring in Seal Team 666, and in 2015 he’ll be in another movie called San Andreas.
While the Rock might be a big softy in real life, when he’s in the ring it’s another matter. Dwayne Johnson’s WWE career is still dear to his crusty ol’ heart, and he even revealed Vince McMahon had once planned a Rock VS Brock Lesnar match for WrestleMania 30:

But the matchup that everyone really wanted was The Undertaker VS Dwayne Johnson and The Rock felt some pressure to schedule the match for WM 30. Unfortunately, another type of pressure entirely tore a quad muscle during a fight with John Cena, and this accident threatened even the filming of the Hercules movie. After the Rock’s injury these plans were canceled, although now it’s rumored Brock Lesnar will take on the Undertaker or perhaps even Ultimate Warrior.
While Dwayne’s WWE plans are currently on the rocks, he did leave open the possibility for returning for WrestleMania 31. So while his injury is healing, the Rock decided to soften his hardcore image a little bit by tweeting a picture of himself gifting his housekeeper with a free SUV. Apparently, Dwayne Johnson’s housekeeper, named Esperanza, has been looking after his home for over 10 years, and he thought it’d be a good idea to surprise her. Saying that “the shocked look on her face was priceless,” someone else took a picture of the moment so he could post it on Twitter:

That’s a 2013 Ford Edge Limited in Deep Impact Blue, which is probably worth somewhere in the range of $40,000. (Of course, considering his stage name you’d think he would have bought a Chevy… yeah, enough bad rock jokes.) Johnson has a history of buying vehicles for those he loves. In 2012, he purchased his mother a Cadillac as a Christmas present since he clearly recalls the memory of his mother crying when the family’s only car was repossessed when he was a teenager. He’s also very generous in general, helping sick children with the Dwayne Johnson Rock Foundation and challenging prison inmates to improve their lives (the Rock was arrested multiple times when he was young).
