Florida Student Expelled After Appearing In Gay Porn

A Florida high school student was expelled after appearing in several pornographic films. Robert Marucci, age 18, said he performed in the films because he and his family needed the money. However, he did not expect his fellow students to find the material online.

Marucci said his classmates exchanged the photos and screen shots during school. He also said he was bullied and harassed about the nature of the films. The explicit films were featured on the Sean Cody website, which specializes in “bareback” gay porn.

As reported by Click Orlando, school administrators said the situation caused a “major disruption.” Marucci was expelled from high school and will not be allowed to graduate with his class.

Melyssa Lieb said her son appeared in the adult films with her blessing. As she was unable to work, her son “was the man of the house.” Faced with the responsibility of supporting his entire family, Marucci agreed to appear in porn.

Although his choice may be controversial, Marucci was a legal adult when the movies were filmed. He was not coerced or forced to perform and he is not ashamed of his work. Miami Herald reports It was a personal decision and he said he did not do anything illegal or wrong:

“I feel like I have been treated unfairly and this is unjust… This was completely legal. I didn’t break any laws, and this took place out of the school.”

Leib said she questioned the principal about the expulsion and was told that her son’s “explicit lifestyle” contributed to the decision. Lieb said her son is an adult and what he does outside of school is not their concern:

“I think that it is… morals and… personal beliefs and I don’t think that this is anybody’s business except for my son’s.”

School officials said the Florida student was expelled for violating the school’s code of conduct. However, they did not elaborate on the specific violation.

Although he was harassed about his participation in the films, several students organized a walkout to protest Marucci’s expulsion. Prior to being kicked out of school, the teen reportedly had good grades and was looking forward to graduation.

His family requested an apology from school administrators. They also want Marucci to have an opportunity to graduate with his classmates. The school has not announced any plans to comply with the family’s request.

Although the Florida student was expelled for appearing in porn, his mother said he is the “most awesome person in the world.”
