Justin Bieber: Let The Buyer Beware, Fake Texts And ‘Penis’ Pictures Shopped
Justin Bieber needs to go through his circle of friends with a fine-tooth comb. According to TMZ, a former pal of the singer is trying to sell bogus pictures and text messages to media outlets through an intermediary, and claiming they were sent from Bieber to Selena Gomez and others.
The website reports one of the misrepresented photos includes a fake shot of the Canadian’s penis and a crass message that says,
“Come on, don’t tell me you don’t miss this.”
To which, the response from the equally fake Gomez reportedly reads, “Stop it. You need to listen to Scooter and go to rehab. u r sick.”
In reply, the still fake Bieber shoots back (maybe not the best word to use), “F**k you. F**k scooter. F**k all y’all I AM DONE! Can’t hear you over my cash, babe! You’re only famous cuz of me.”
Quelle surprise, not one of the deliberately hideous messages is genuine.
Citing sources, TMZ explains the attempted cash grab is the brainchild of a so-called friend of Justin who has now “turned on him.”
The bogus bid comes after the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department’s Tuesday DEFCON 5 raid at Bieber’s Calabasas, CA residence in connection to an egg-throwing vandalism incident a neighbor has accused the star of perpetrating, and reportedly caused $20,000 in damages.
During the felony search warrant authorized raid, CNN reports the 19-year-old’s iPhone was seized. The outlet adds investigative lead detective Lt. David Thompson said they are looking for evidence of Bieber “bragging or making fun of” of the house egging.
After TMZ reported Bieber was worried about hypothetical naked photos or drug talk being leaked from phone, Lt. Thompson issued a clear statement to the New York Daily News on Thursday.
“He doesn’t have to worry about drug talk or naked pictures. It’s pretty widely known the kid smokes weed. A search warrant based on drug talk is not going to happen,” the detective told the New York Daily News.
Thompson continued, “And the whole world has naked pictures on their phones. With Justin Bieber – at his level – it might be people we know, so it might be a concern for him. But he doesn’t have to worry.”
Affirming, “We’re not doing some big sting,” he firmly declared, “We’re looking for images or information related to the egging. Nothing else is getting out. It’s safe in the hands of law enforcement.”
On the heels of the public revelation that Bieber’s iPhone is no longer in his possession, the fake text and penis shots scam surfaced.
Bieber is currently neither “charged” or “exonerated” in the ongoing felony vandalism and assault case. During the raid, the rapper Xavier “Lil Za” Smith was arrested on suspicion of felony drug possession after substances thought to be “Molly” – a purer form of Ecstasy and the anxiety drug Xanax were found “in plain view” in a location used by Smith as a bedroom.
Lil Za was subsequently arrested and booked for felony vandalism after allegedly damaging a holding cell phone while in custody at the Lost Hills Sheriff’s station, before his late Tuesday night release on a reported $70,000 bail bond.
As of today Bieber’s somewhat understandable radio silence on Twitter stands at three days.
