Aisha Tyler Pregnant… At Least In ‘Archer’ Season 5

With Aisha Tyler “pregnant” as Lana Kane in the debut of Archer season 5 things should start to get more interesting… as if they weren’t enough already.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, it’s almost a painful irony that this past fall Aisha Tyler was talking about infertility. She and her husband, Jeff Tietjens, were trying to get pregnant using in vitro fertilization treatments. But things didn’t work out and she decided to end the “torture” of her hormone injections due to the “problems with a torturous fallopian tube.”

While she is open to the “idea of adoption” she still wishes she could have her own children:

“The hardest part, I think, is I really love my husband, he’s such a good person and he would be such a great father. I’m sorry that I can’t do this for you, that I can’t give you kids.”

So now we have Archer Season 5 and a pregnant Lana Kane. The popular animated TV show was on hiatus for about a year and it’s also going in a new direction. While not getting into too many spoilers, the short of it is that ISIS is facing yet another crisis that may destroy it. At one point the main character, Sterling Archer, is given a vision for Archer Vice, which is apparently what the rest of the show will be about. So is it a reboot? No one is sure and Aisha also isn’t telling who the baby daddy is:

“I might know who the father is, I can’t tell you. (But) she didn’t get pregnant by accident.”

And that’s something of a surprise, actually. The fictional characters of Archer are well known for getting their thing on with practically everyone and everything.

Meanwhile, back in real life, Aisha Tyler is being kept busy as an actress, author, game-show host, talk-show panelist, podcast proprietor. While she won’t take a job doing windows, she apparently wants to keep adding to her resume:

“I love to work. I grew up poor. It was a good time, but I’m not interested in going back. And I’m going to try to add more jobs to that list. I want to wake up, look back and think, ‘God! I did a lot of stuff.”
