Kanye West Landed 30 Punches On Teen Who Used ‘N-Word,’ Says Report
When Kanye West spotted the 18-year-old who hurled racial and sexual insults at Kim Kardsahian and used a racist term directed at West himself, he one-sidedly beat the youth, according to a new account of the incident today.
Also today, Kris Jenner, the mother of Kim Kardashian and 58-year-old matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, had something to say about the assault case against her future son-in-law, the Yeezus rapper.
Her comments came prior to the latest allegations concerning the attack for which Kanye West is now under investigation, which portrayed it as much more of an assault, not a fight or altercation as in in previous accounts.
Yesterday, Kanye West was named as a “suspect” in an assault on an 18-year-old at a Beverly Hills chiropractor’s office. The victim was heard shouting racial and anti-gay insults at paparazzi photographers as they attempted to photograph Kim Kardashian, West’s fiancé and mother of his child, as she made her way into the building.
When the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star admonished the racially bigoted teen for using the “n-word,” the youth immediately launched into a verbal attack on her. According to reports, he insulted her using a variety of racial and sexual slurs.
When Kim Kardashian phoned Kanye West, the 18-year-old aimed the “n-word” at the hip hop celebrity as well. A scuffle ensued and at some point, allegedly, Kanye West punched the teenager in the face.
At least that was the original version. But a new story today on the celebrity news site TMZ says that Kanye West became so enraged that without any warning, he “pummeled” the 18-year-old, landing about 30 blows as the teen, who was seated, simply covered up until a bystander in the chiropractic office separated the rapper from the 18-year-old.
The new account is based on an interview with a witness who claimed to have been present when the attack took place.
Interviewed by an Australian radio station, 2DayFM, Kris Jenner said that she has been traveling so hasn’t been able to keep up with details of the case. But she did offer her views on what she had recently learned of it.
“I do know that how it started was that this person got really — a lot of racial, hateful, horrible things that he was saying,” Kris Jenner said, according to an US Magazine account of the interview. “And I think that’s where it started. I’m not quite sure how it ended, to be honest with you.”
She emphasized that she had no first-hand knowledge of the incident, but sided with her prospective son-in-law and condemned the teenager’s reported use of racial and sexual epithets.
“I got wind of this last night because I had been out of town,” Jenner explained, referring to the Kanye West assault case. “And I’ve literally been doing some press all day today and have not been home. So I haven’t talked to anybody to give you a better update. But I think that what happened was that somebody got really out of line. Very hateful person.”
