Mia Farrow Still Bitter About Woody Allen But Is Sinatra Her Son’s Father?
Mia Farrow and son Ronan decided to use the Golden Globe Awards ceremony to smear the name of Woody Allen.
Diane Keaton accepted the Cecil B, DeMille lifetime achievement award on Allen’s behalf since he declined to be present, as is his usual response to awards.
Given the bitterness of the tweets, that’s probably just as well. Just look at this from his son (or is he?):
Missed the Woody Allen tribute – did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he molested her at age 7 before or after Annie Hall?
— Ronan Farrow (@RonanFarrow) January 13, 2014
This comment referred to a Vanity Fair story in which his sister Dylan spoke publicly for the first time about allegedly being molested by Allen in the attic of their country home when she was 7. Allen has always denied the allegations, and did so again through a lawyer in the article.
His tweet quickly went viral, receiving more than 8,500 retweets and over 6,000 favorites so far.
Ronan Farrow started his campaign of vilification of his “father” some time ago. His mother, Mia Farrow, told Vanity Fair last year that Ronan is “possibly” Frank Sinatra’s son, and not Allen’s.
Ronan then retweeted two posts from people lauding him for supporting sexual abuse survivors.
Mia Farrow, Allen’s former partner, has never forgiven him for starting a relationship with their adopted daughter, Soon Yi, who he married in 1997. She added her own contribution to the hate tweets:
Time to grab some icecream & switch over to #GIRLS

She followed this up on Monday with:
A woman has publicly detailed Woody Allen’s molestation of her at age 7. GoldenGlobe tribute showed contempt for her & all abuse survivors

Ronan Farrow, 26, is a host on MSNBC, and this is just the latest in a long line of comments denigrating Woody Allen.
On Father’s Day 2012, he tweeted:
“Happy father’s day — or as they call it in my family, happy brother-in-law’s day.”
Meanwhile, Woody Allen’s marriage has lasted 16 years – which is pretty remarkable by Hollywood standards.
in contrast, Mia Farrow’s two attempts at marriage– with Andre Previn and Frank Sinatra – only managed 13 years together in total.
