Ariana Grande Frequently Embarrassed By Her Previous Fashion Choices [Video]

Ariana Grande doesn’t enjoy looking at some of her old photographs.

While many of her fans agree that the singer has impeccable taste in fashion, Grande doesn’t always feel the same way. During her recent interview with the folks at Cosmopolitan magazine, she admitted to feeling a little embarrassed by her previous choices.

“My style has changed so much over time for the better. I look at old pictures even from a few months ago and I get sick to my stomach, it’s just so embarrassing,” she told the publication.

When asked to describe her style, Ariana Grande replied, “Feminine. It’s pretty casual and girly and classic and chilled, I just wear jeans and peplum tops.”

If you tend to think that Grande’s fashion choices are a little odd or a bit strange, then this is probably because the singer doesn’t feel she’s into the sort of things teenagers like these days. That’s because Ariana firmly believes that she’s a very old soul.

“What excites younger people doesn’t excite me… I’m kind of a boring, normal girl who likes Harry Potter and to sit in her pajamas and sing. A lot of my friends are partiers, but I’ve never really clicked with that,” she recently explained.

Grande added, “I like Barbra Streisand, and when was the last time you saw Babs getting, like, turnt up? That’s kind of the road that I, as a lady, would like to go down.”

However, don’t think for a second that you have the girl all figured out because you keep up with her interviews. Ariana Grande recently tweeted that the way celebrities portray themselves on social media doesn’t necessarily reflect who they truly are in real life.

“It’s bizarre how we think we know each other based upon what we post online. I just read my tweets pretending I didn’t know me and got annoyed,” the Sam & Cat star wrote.

She added, “We post and think it’s a good representation of who we are but there’s so much more to us. We think we know each other but we don’t. It’s weird… some people think that I’m like a 12-year-old girl but I’m actually just an 80-year-old lady with the mouth of a sailor.”
