Hillary Clinton Killed My Son, Benghazi Mom Pat Smith Claims

The mother of slain foreign service officer Sean Smith has declared that would-be presidential candidate Hillary Clinton killed her son according to a published interview.

Pat Smith was reacting to a New York Times article that claimed that Al Qaeda-allied groups were not involved in the attack and added that an anti-Islam video was responsible at least in part. Republicans and even some Democrats have assailed the Times report as misleading. Critics have also charged the the Times was trying to throw a lifeline to the former Secretary of State’s presumed 2016 presidential aspirations.

Terrorists murdered Sean Smith, her son, and three other Americans — Ambassador Christopher Stevens and former Navy SEALS Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods — on September 11, 2012, at the US embassy compound in Benghazi, Libya. Since then, Mrs. Smith has been unable to get a straight answer from the Obama administration as to exactly what happened or why the administration never deployed rescue teams. Congressional investigating committees have encountered the same problem in trying to get to the bottom of it. US officials originally blamed the attack on the YouTube video, a claim that has since been discredited. The number two official at the Embassy testified before Congress that the vide was a “non-event” in the attack.

Said Pat Smith of the Times article:

They’re just covering up for Hillary. Hillary killed my son … As far as I can tell from all my sources, she was responsible — directly.”

Added Smith: “All the SEALs and everybody I’ve talked to recently, they say they would never, ever, ever leave someone to be sacrificed. And that’s what happened –they were sacrificed.”

Earlier this week, Smith along with Charles Woods (father of Tyrone Woods) and numerous military officers sent a letter to House Speaker John Boehner that called for a select House committee to investigate the September 11, 2012, Benghazi attack because the existing committes’ efforts have been “disjointed and uncoordinated” and have failed to get to the truth of what happened. The letter also said…

“On Sunday, December 29, 2013, the New York Times published a story concerning the Benghazi attacks that directly contradicts the sworn testimony of witnesses who appeared before various committees. Besides the obvious New York Times editorial and political objectives of inoculating Hillary Clinton and her 2016 presidential campaign from further criticism of her failures as Secretary of State, the story contradicts objective truth and established facts in a way that confuses the public. Your inaction and failure to lead on the Benghazi investigation directly contributes to the repetition of lies; a lack of accountability from responsible government officials; and the political advancement of persons who seek to continue to ‘fundamentally transform’ the Constitution and our country. The New York Times recent publication proves the Benghazi story is not ‘going away.’ ”

In November 2012, Pat Smith accused President Obama of murdering her son as a result of the Benghazi embassy attack.
