Katy Perry and John Mayer’s relationship is still going strong.
Since the couple can’t do anything these days without their every movement being watched and scrutinized, a source recently revealed that the pair were reportedly spotted together in Hawaii. Perry and Mayer reportedly spent a week at private home on the island of Kauai.
Upon learning of Katy Perry’s excursion to the sunny location, the insider immediately darted to E! Online. According to the source, the pair looked “really happy and in love” during their stay on the island.
If you need more juicy inside information about Perry and Mayer’s relationship, then you’ll likely squeal with utter delight after learning what they reportedly got each other for Christmas last year. While Perry received a pair of diamond earrings, Mayer unwrapped an ornate samurai sword.
Life & Style magazine also reported that Katy Perry and John Mayer recently took a trip to Hawaii, though the publication has its own theories about the trip. According to the article, the couple brought along a few friends for the one-week vacation. Of course, the magazine believes this means they got married in secret.
“John says all the time that Katy is going to be his wife. He says she just gets him like no one else does,” an anonymous source explained. As always, it’s probably in everyone’s best interest to treat this as nothing more than a rumor for the moment.
It’s certainly no secret that the couple are madly in love. Perry and Mayer appeared on Ellen last year, a visit that fulfilled everyone’s quota for mushy relationship details.
“We have a lot of fun. We have music as an understanding and love between each other, and we connect. It’s like he understands what I do because he does the same thing. And so after a long day, if it’s been tough, I don’t really have to go into it. He just gets it. So it’s nice with that understanding,” she told DeGeneres.
