Ronda Rousey: Nude Fight For UFC 170 Would Make Women’s MMA Worthy, Says Matt Brown

Ronda Rousey topless in the UFC 170 fight, Rousey VS McMann? That’s the only thing UFC fighter Matt Brown says would make the match worthwhile to pay for.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, a charity photo actually featured Ronda Rousey nude, and she’s also discussed posing for Playboy magainze, so it’s not like she isn’t completely adverse to nudity.

But Matt Brown didn’t come up with this idea as a friendly suggestion. Women’s MMA is growing and the new 115-pound division is on the rise, with a whole Ultimate Fighter season being dedicated to this new feature. Apparently, that doesn’t sit too well with some of the guys.

Speaking on his podcast called LegitManS**t, Brown claims UFC 170 should feature Ronda Rousey topless in order to make the women’s division more marketable:

“I just think this, if I’m [going] to pay $60 for a pay-per-view to watch women fight they should at least be topless.”

Brown was even pretty critical when it comes to UFC 168, which featured Rousey VS Tate:

“The whole fight we have women in one room, men in another room. Rousey and Miesha come on and all the women just f**king gather around the TV like it’s the f**king Kardashians coming on.”

While cat fights are common on reality TV shows, it seems difficult to make this comparison. Rousey won against Tate via submission with an armbar in the third round, putting her at 8-0. For this effort she was awarded $150,000 in bonus money for having Submission Of The Night. Apparently, Matt Brown will only be happy if she starts winning Knockout Of The Night:

“How many knockouts do you see in women’s fights? It’s not really my thing. I respect what they do, but look, they don’t have the body type or the power, all that sh*t, for knockouts. If you’re not a good grappler in women’s MMA then you’re behind. It’s no different than the 125 [pound] division of men’s MMA in that they’re just really not built for knockouts.”

Well, The Immortal may have a new reason for his nickname, since he probably won’t be able to live these statements down, especially if he has a girlfriend. Never mind, although Brown win-loss record indicates he favors knockouts, he’s also standing at 20-11, which puts him 11 losses higher than Rousey.
