Kanye West Adds Dates To His Yeezus Tour
Kanye West recently added several dates to his extremely successful Yeezus tour.
Since there are a few people out there who have yet to experience the rapper’s epic performances for themselves, he decided to scheduled a few more gigs for the month of February. The new dates will take West through New England and parts of Canada. Remember to schedule your own existence accordingly.
Unfortunately, it would appear that Kanye West is only adding dates for February. Since he’s planning to drop a new batch of songs later this year, he’ll likely head home to begin work on the tunes in earnest.
Although Kendrick Lamar provided support for West during Yeezus tour last year, there’s currently no word on who will open for the rapper during these additional dates.
Kanye originally wrapped up the Yeezus tour on December 30. If you’re hoping to catch some of the rapper’s infamous rants next month, then you may walk away from the experience with a wad of disappointment in your pocket. According to West, he’s retiring the opinionated portion of his shows.
“This might be the last time y’all hear me talk shit for a long time. Might be another, like, six months. At least. You’re just gonna have to run back the interviews and shit if you wanna hear some realness. [I won’t] ever bring up Nike again, and the only way I’ll bring them up is in a positive light.”
He added:
“I’ll never bring up the Grammys again in a negative light, because I actually appreciate the 21 Grammys that I did win. I’m letting you all now that this is the last Yeezus show, and this is the last time you’ll ever hear me say [anything] negative about anyone.”
Fans who attended Kanye West shows during 2013 were frequently treated to rants about everything from Bruno Mars to Zappos to the Grammys. Since this brought the rapper all sorts of negative press, he decided that it was time to hang up his opinions for a little while.
