Justin Bieber Congratulates Manager Scooter Braun’s Engagement To Yael Cohen
Justin Bieber has congratulated his manager Scooter Braun on his recent engagement to Yael Cohen, his girlfriend of almost a year.
The 19-year-old, who is Stratford, Ontario’s most famous native, got patriotic in his message.
Referring to Cohen’s Canadian heritage – she grew up in Vancouver – on Monday, Justin tweeted,
“Scooter Braun get it! The man is happy. Congrats! A Canadian. Smart.”
Braun proposed to Cohen on Sunday, January 5, E! News reports.
Instead of releasing a formal announcement, the couple posted hints on their social media accounts.
“loving 2014. Luckiest guy in the world :),” the 32-year-old music industry maven tweeted early Monday, alluding to the engagement.
Cohen, 27, upped that by sharing two images to Instagram. In one shot the power-pair are seen wearing white and holding hands while eyeing each other lovingly.
The other photo showed a pink neon sign, with one word,”yes.”
One of Braun’s other high profile artists, Carly Rae Jepsen, also sent congratulations to the newly-engaged twosome.
“Huge congrats to @scooterbraun and @yael on their engagement! I am so happy for you both! #truelove #yay,” Jepsen wrote on Monday.”
Us Weekly reports a source said of Braun and Cohen, ‘They are head over heels and are so great together.’
Scooter’s ever-expanding roster of artists which includes Justin, Ariana Grande, Jepsen, South Korean star Psy, British boy band The Wanted, Tori Kelly, and Asher Roth, will no doubt be fielding congratulations from his talents once they hear the news.

Despite growing up Vancouver, Cohen reportedly describes herself as South African. She founded F— Cancer in 2009 in response to her mother’s breast cancer diagnosis.
Last year, Canada’s Women’s Executive Network named Cohen one of its Most Powerful Women In the country.
Braun and Cohen have been on holiday in the luxurious surroundings of Anguilla and St. Barts since the Christmas Day opening of the fated movie-documentary Believe. The film took 3.1 million dollars in its first three days in the US before going on to pull in $6,021,522 (after 13 days in release.)
Speaking to MTV at the film’s Los Angeles premiere in December, Braun nutshelled his almost parental relationship with Justin and his thoughts on what has been an undeniably dramatic 2013 for the duo..
“It’s a work in progress,” he said of Bieber.”I’m not done yet, he’s not done yet. I expect him to continue to make great decisions and then make mistakes. That’s human. Our job is to continue to care and always be there for him and let him be there for all of these kids.”
