O.J. Simpson Requests Clemency: ‘I Don’t Want To Die Like Jailhouse Scum’

O.J. Simpson, who is still serving time in prison for kidnapping, assault and robbery, has requested a pardon from President Obama as he says he doesn’t have long to live.

The National Enquirer reported that medical records show that Simpson, aged 66, is suffering from a fatal malignant tumor in his brain.

The latest revelation about O.J. Simpson’s health also highlighted the fact that he has suffered for some time from a serious case of diabetes, a condition which is also potentially life threatening.

An anonymous source spoke to the publication about the alleged symptoms the ex-football legend is suffering from:

O.J. says his memory is slipping and he gets painful headaches and other symptoms He began suffering dizzy spells; nausea, lapses in memory – and the frightening symptoms continue to get worse. He put off the doctors for weeks after he first started experiencing the symptoms because he was afraid of what they would find. Now the prison docs are telling him they believe he has a brain tumour. They plan to run a series of tests on him, MRIs and CT scans.

Simpson is still serving a 33-year sentence in a Nevada Correctional Facility, and is not eligible for parole for at least another four years.

O.J. Simpson decided it was time to pen a letter to the president to request an early release from jail, He wrote:

Mr President, I know my life is coming to an end. Please, don’t let me die in prison. I feel the end coming. But I don’t want to die in prison like common jailhouse scum.

It seems that Simpson may not have long to live, with some estimates standing at just three months. The anonymous source spke about the fact the O.J. doesn’t look after his health:

OJ’s doctors have told him he could be dead in as little as three months because of his out-of-control blood sugar and blood pressure. But OJ doesn’t care. He knows he’s never going to get out of prison, so he refuses to take care of himself.

It remains to be seen whether or not the president will grant clemency to O.J. Simpson. If indeed the reports about his rapidly deteriorating health are true, he may have a good case for being released early from jail.
