Luke Bryan Shares His Secrets To A Successful Marriage
Luke Bryan claims to have all the secrets to a successful marriage.
The country music singer tied the knot with Caroline Boyer back in 2006, a relationship that is apparently as strong today as it was when they first got together. How does Bryan keep the magic alive? According to a recent interview with Good Housekeeping, foot rubs, date nights, and communication make for a healthy marriage.
“We don’t have big throw-down fights. If we have a beef, we always talk it out instead of letting it snowball,” Luke Bryan said during his recent chat.
He added, “Every night before bed, I rub my wife’s feet. She says they’re the best foot rubs on Earth. We do little nights out together. One Valentine’s Day, we got each other’s initials tattooed on our ring fingers!”
Bryan added that spending quality time together without any sort of interruptions also helps keep their relationship strong. Before the day gets rolling, Luke and his wife take a moment to discuss whatever they want for at least 30 minutes. This usually happens over a cup of coffee in the morning.
Apparently the secret to a healthy marriage also includes a few white lies. Luke Bryan told the magazine that he tries his best to keep his fishing budget away from Caroline’s prying eyes. If that’s the only secret he has tucked away, then it sounds like Bryan has everything under control.
The country music star also knows how to develop a successful career. Luke Bryan reportedly sold 1.52 million copies of his album Crash My Party over the course of 2013, making him one of the best-selling recording artists of the year.
Bryan joins the ranks of Justin Timberlake, Eminem, and Bruno Mars in the world of top-selling albums. The secret to Luke’s success: Writing songs for all walks of life. The singer told Radio.com he pens tunes for hardcore country music fans and casual listeners alike.
He explained:
“You don’t want to load an album up with too much of the same subject matter. You want to [include] something for everybody. I try to make my albums something that everybody can gravitate to and love a song on it. The main thing for me is just do a well-rounded album that showcases me as an artist, and showcases me as a songwriter, and Nashville as a songwriting town. I want my personality to shine through in the music, and that’s what I try to do on my albums.”
