Demi Lovato Has A Bone To Pick With Haters On Twitter
Demi Lovato is tired of hearing your lip on Twitter.
The former X Factor judge recently decided to share some positive words with her followers on the micro-blogging site. However, her thoughts and opinions didn’t consist solely of moon pies and penny whistles. Judging from her comments, it would appear that Lovato isn’t going to put up with your nonsense in 2014.
“2014 equals health, fitness, strength, and music. It’s not about looking in shape, it’s about being emotionally and physically in shape from the inside out. Screw New Years, I’m starting now,” the singer wrote to her fans and supporters over the weekend.
However, Demi Lovato didn’t stop there. To make sure everyone knows that she isn’t going to deal with your shenanigans over the course of the next 12 months, she issued a statement that pretty much tells everyone to back off. If you want to push your luck, then you might face her wrath.
Lovato wrote:
“Haters can only bother you if you aren’t doing anything to prove them wrong. I can’t sing? I’m singing on the treadmill and practicing my a** off. You think I’m fat? I’m already in the gym!!!!! You think I’m irrelevant? WATCH THA F*** OUT.. 2014 I’m GOING IN with my music and touring!!!!!!! Nobody’s gonna stop my grind… LET’S DO THIS LOVATICS!!!!!! #PUMPED.”
The “Neon Lights” singer has certainly faced her fair share of celebrity-related garbage during 2013. Not only the producers of The X Factor put together a questionable segment that poked fun at her alcohol addiction, she also had to contend with ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas’ New York Magazine tell-all.
Unfortunately for the Jonas Brother, Demi Lovato might have the last laugh on that front. The singer said a few weeks ago that she hopes to put together her own memoir, a tome she could release at some point next year.
“Well, first I was like, ‘Umm, we need to talk,’ and then we talked and I was fine. I was like, ‘Look, I’m not mad at you but you need to choose your words more carefully next time,” Lovato said of Jonas’ extremely dishy article.
She added:
“They’re my brothers, I love them so much. Joe and I argue like brother and sister and [he’s] always going to be in my life. He meant no harm and he’s never had a chance to tell his side of the story so I’m proud of him. I also said beware because I’m writing my tell-all now. I have a memoir coming out probably next year, I don’t know, whenever it’s done!”
