Ariana Grande, Nathan Sykes Decide To Take A Break [Rumor]

Ariana Grande and Nathan Sykes have split, according to a source close to the couple.

Rumors started swirling last week after Grande mentioned that she was just “good friends” with her boyfriend. Fan reaction was instantaneous, with many expressing their sorrow over the couple’ demise on Twitter. Shortly after reports started making the rounds, Ariana said she was actually talking about former squeeze Jai Brooks.

Despite Ariana Grande’s insistence that the breakup rumors were untrue, the folks over at Us Weekly claim she and Nathan Sykes are no longer together. In fact, the insider seems to believe that the couple decided to go their separate ways a few weeks ago.

“They just weren’t into it anymore,” the insider said.

Rumors about the couple’s relationship started to spread back in August following their The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones collaboration. After they were spotted together at Disneyland, Nathan Sykes decided to confirm the rumors on Twitter.

“So, I guess it’s obvious now… Thanks to everyone who is being so lovely. I’m so happy,” The Wanted singer wrote on the micro-blogging site.

Ariana Grande inadvertently started tongues wagging about the split during an interview with Florida’s 99.3 FLZ. When asked about a sloth she reportedly rented for her famous boyfriend, the singer offered up the following response.

“You’re a little behind… we’re really good friends,” Grande said.

Since the clip featuring the question disappeared from the internet shortly after the rumors started to spread, many folks thought she was referring to Nathan Sykes. However, Ariana never rented a sloth for Nathan — Jai was the guy who received the furry animal.

Although Grande later clarified the statement, it would seem that fans only had a couple of days rest before rumors of the breakup started to surface once again. Neither Ariana Grande nor Nathan Sykes have confirmed these reports as of this writing. However, all signs presently point towards a place called Splitsville.

One person who is probably a little happy about the possible split is Jai Brooks. According to the singer, Sykes is the guy who stole Grande away. Brooks told his fans and followers all about the situation during a recent rant on Twitter.

“Nathan may be a top bloke or a sweet person, but what he did was just completely wrong. He interfered with my life and did not respect my relationship, his actions caused me to not be able to sleep at night and not see the world as a beautiful place,” he wrote.
