Leighton Meester Hides Ring Finger, Doesn’t Talk About Engagement To Adam Brody

Leighton Meester is ready to get married, but apparently not ready to show off her bling just yet.

The actress was seen this week walking her dogs with fiancee Adam Brody, but the Gossip Girl star kept her ring finger hidden underneath the sleeve of her gray sweatshirt.

The hidden ring finger isn’t likely any sign of trouble for Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, but instead, just keeping in line with the couple’s notoriously private relationship. The pair never officially announced their engagement, but instead a source close to them slipped the news to Us Weekly in November.

Leighton Meester has hidden her engagement ring before. During a trip to South Africa earlier this month she kept her ring finger hidden behind her shirt.

The couple is famous for starring in tween dramas. Brody played Seth Cohen on The O.C. while Meester played Blair Waldorf on The CW’s Gossip Girl. The two met on the set of the 2011 movie The Oranges and had been dating for a little less than a year before getting engaged earlier this year.

The couple isn’t private about their affection for each other. During their trip to South Africa, the couple was spotted sharing a kiss at Cape Town International Airport.

Meester has also opened up in a general way about her love life, telling Lucky magazine in 2012:

“I love love. It’s the most intriguing universally understood emotion, and it comes in so many forms: family love, love of friends. I fall in love with everybody all the time.”
