Joan Rivers Tells Jennifer Lawrence to ‘Grow Up’ [Video]

Joan rivers and Jennifer Lawrence have never had much love for each other. Lately the rivalry has escalated with Joan Rivers telling that in the New Year she hopes that Jennifer Lawrence grows up.

Joan Rivers is obviously still upset that Lawrence suggested that shows like her own “Fashion Police” were teaching the wrong values and that the show made it ok for people on television to call people ugly or fat. Jennifer Lawrence had went even further by suggesting that it should be illegal for television hosts to call people fat in the media.

Joan Rivers had originally responded to Jennifer Lawrence’s comment by saying that Lawrence was “arrogant and a hypocrite”. Rivers said that Lawrence seemed to love “Fashion Police” when they were heaping praise on her during award season but seemed to hate them when she was out on the trail promoting her films.

Jennifer Lawrence is famous for her working attitude. She refuses to lose weight for roles, she hates dieting and she openly admits she is photoshopped in a lot of her pictures.

In an interview Joan Rivers said that Jennifer Lawrence’s attitude and behavior is all an act, saying:

“I love that she’s telling everyone how wrong it is to worry about retouching and body image, and meanwhile, she has been touched up more than a choir boy at the Vatican. Look at her posters. She doesn’t have a nose, she has two holes. She just has to learn, don’t talk if you’re doing it.”

Joan Rivers should seriously decide if it is worth it to continue this feud with Jennifer Lawrence. Lawrence is one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood right now and is admired for her attitude and personality throughout the world as well. Joan Rivers cannot say the same for herself.
