Austin Mahone Wants People To Think His First Album Is ‘Insane’

Austin Mahone has high hopes for his first full-length album.

Although the pop singer released a handful of singles and an EP in Japan, his fans haven’t had a chance to enjoy a full collection of tunes just yet. However, there’s a very strong possibility all of that will change at some point next year.

During a chat with MTV News, Austin Mahone laid out his plans for his as-of-yet-untitled first album. He may not have a name for the batch of songs at the moment, but that isn’t stopping the guy from hoping it knocks the figurative socks off his legions of fans.

“My new album, I’m still putting it together, you know the reason why it’s taking so long is because I just want to make [sure], you know, every song on there is perfect,” he told the outlet during his red carpet appearance at Z100’s Jingle Ball in New York City.

The pop star continued, “I want my first album to just be crazy, like, ‘Aw man this kid is like, this came out of nowhere, he’s got an insane album,’ so, I mean, I’ve worked with so many talented producers and so I just want to pick the right songs for it.”

To keep everyone occupied in the meantime, Austin Mahone released the music video for “Banga Banga” last week. If you’re curious to see what the track is all about, then have a look at the clip embedded below. However, chances aren’t you’ve already watched the thing about a dozen times already.

“So far, everyone’s loved [‘Banga! Banga!’], and I’m so glad. It was a fun video to shoot — a lot of graffiti involved, a lot of skateboarding. It was a party,” the singer said of the tune.

However, this isn’t the first time Austin Mahone has teased the release of his first full-length album. The Inquisitr reported earlier this month that Austin Mahone is still a little unsure when fans can stuff the new batch of songs directly into their ears. However, the singer said he’s pretty sure everything will roll out next year.

“[There’s] not an exact date, but I’m working on it right now so it should be out around maybe February or January, somewhere around there. I feel like it’s working out because the more time we have, the more songs I record,” he recently told Fanlala.
