Parents everywhere struggle on a daily basis.
It gets even worse during the holidays.
Moms in particular feel a need to measure up as the ones who birthed their children, the people who brought them into the world.
“I’m not the most patient person in the world.”
“I struggle with my temper.”
“There’s definitely days when I have my doubts about my abilities.”
“I just want them to know how much I love them.”
These are just some of the quotes from a group of women offering testimonials on their jobs as moms in an inspiring (and secular) video from Elevation Church. And in this holiday season, as mothers and fathers everywhere look for that perfect gift, do their best, and struggle to get things just right for their little ones, it is important to remember how their children feel.
That’s the second part of the video.
A few days after sitting down in front of the camera, these same women are shown what their kids think of their skills as nurturers, caregivers, and parents. Tears were shed and might be shed right now as you watch it yourself.

“She loves me a lot.”
“She’s like my heart… because she’s that close to me.”
“She’s my hero.”
