Jillian Michaels Joining Cast Of ‘The Doctors’

Curious to know why Jillian Michaels has decided to leave the hit show The Biggest Loser on NBC? It turns out she has accepted a co-hosting role on the daytime drama The Doctors.

According The Hollywood Reporter Michaels is joining the show under a multi-year contract and she will also serve as a special correspondent on lifestyle issues for The Dr. Phil Show.

Dr. Phil, a co-creator of The Doctors said of her announcement:

“Jillian Michaels is the perfect addition to ‘The Doctors’ team,” while adding, “She not only embraces our mission to supply viewers with critical information to make informed and intelligent health care decisions, but more importantly, she leads by example.”

Jillian chimed in several months ago by saying she was leaving her current post on The Biggest Loser because she wanted to spend more time becoming a mother.
