Michelle Beadle: AJ Lee Boyfriend Called ‘F*ck Face’ By Reporter, WWE Diva Erupts

Michelle Beadle and WWE Divas star AJ Lee are apparently in a real personal fight after the NBC reporter called Lee’s boyfriend, CM Punk, a “f*ck face,” well, to his face.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, NBC cancelled Beadle’s show The Crossover after only seven months.

So what exactly happened between Michelle Beadle and AJ Lee? They were both working on a Tribute To The Troops project when apparently things took a turn for the nasty:

“Once and once only: I’ve known CM Punk for years. Considered him a friend. When I saw him at the arena, I said ‘hey f&$?face’. The exact same way I talk to everyone. His girlfriend was no where near this. And I kept walking along with my assistant and two members of WWE PR. Next thing I know, I’m being yelled at. I honestly thought it was a joke. Period. The event went on and it was amazing.”

Anyone even slightly familiar with WWE Divas knows AJ Lee plays a slightly crazy character role while in the ring. But apparently this tirade wasn’t pre-scripted (or was it? After all, this is WWE Divas we’re talking about here…) and WWE officials are supposedly angry and embarrassed over AJ Lee’s backstage behavior, saying she was “coming off like her character in real life, and not in a good way.”

Witnesses seem to believe AJ wasn’t being a jealous girlfriend but was instead upset at the “disrespectful” tone Michelle Beadle used with CM Punk. When Lee heard about this incident she went on the warpath and confronted Beadle, telling her to never speak to AJ Lee’s boyfriend like that ever again. But one wrestler claims Lee did this without cursing or even raising her voice:

“Anyone who said that is a liar. Celebs [like Michelle Beadle] are untouchable in the backstage scene. WWE wants them more than they need any wrestler, so automatically, the wrestler is going to be wrong here, even when [Lee] isn’t really.”

But apparently people on Michelle Beadle’s Twitter account are siding with her over the WWE Divas champ. One fan said she “should have slapped AJ Lee when she got in your face.” But Michelle responded, “It was done in front of company people. I didn’t say a word. I thought it was a joke.” And she’s apparently unrepentant about her choice of wording to CM Punk:
