Kris Jenner Says Separation From Bruce Was ‘Best For Our Family’

Kris Jenner and the Kardashians have definitely had an eventful year. In addition welcoming a granddaughter into the world, Kris decided to take a break from husband Bruce.

After 22 years of marriage, Kris and Bruce Jenner decided to go their separate ways. While the split was certainly a little shocking, Kim Kardashian’s mom seems to think the decision was the best thing for their family at this particular moment in time.

During her chat with Kathie Lee Gifford, Kris Jenner gave fans a little insight into the recent separation. While some folks are no doubt disappointed about the split, Kris is apparently doing okay.

“We are better people and happier just spending time apart than we are spending time together. We decided this was best for our family. We came to a place where this isn’t healthy, the way we were treating each other,” Kris told Gifford during the interview.

Although the couple decided to take a break earlier this year, Jenner explained that she was very “blessed” to have met Bruce. If Kris has any regrets about the recent split, then she’s definitely not sharing this information with the public.

“Bruce and I are and will remain best friends. We’re just separated, we’re not divorcing. And what happens in life is that we are better people and happier spending time apart than together. This is the best for our situation and we’re keeping it real tight and private. It’s just what we need to do right now,” Kris Jenner explained.

The reality television star added, “But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority.”

While divorce isn’t in the cards just yet, this hasn’t stopped Kris Jenner from reportedly stepping out with other guys. The Inquisitr previously reported that she was recently spotted with 30-year-old wine maker Ben Flajnik. However, rumors about their alleged romantic entanglement weren’t officially confirmed.

How did Kris and Ben meet? He told Us Weekly:

“I did Kris’ talk show a few months back, brought my wines on the show. Of course I offered her a visit to the winery whenever she had a chance. That’s how we met. Recently, she ended up contacting me about a month ago or so and asked me if they could film an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians at the winery. I of course obliged.”
