Paranormal Activity 3 To Be Directed By ‘Catfish’ Directors
Catfish directors Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman have been hired to direct Paramount Pictures Paranormal Activity 3. The men directed last year’s controversial documentary Catfish.
Writing the script is Paranormal Activity 2 writer Christopher B. Landon, while the movies original creator Oren Peli is producing the film with Jason Blum.
Paramount is eyeing an October 21, 2011 release date which should be fairly easy to accomplish given the limited amount of work needed to create the movies thus far.
No information about the new movie has been provided, however there’s a good change it will once again follow Katie or her family as it did in the first two films.
It will be interesting to see how two guys who seem more Michael Moore than Steven Spielberg handle the jump from shooting and starring in a documentary to making a faux horror documentary type film.
Do you think the Catfish directors are the right choice?
