Will ‘Batman Vs. Superman’ Have A Love Triangle For Amy Adams?

Will the Batman vs. Superman movie include a love triangle for Amy Adams, who played Lois Lane in Man of Steel and will reprise her role as Superman’s love interest, Lois Lane.

So how will a Wonder Woman appearance in the sequel impact the Lois/Clark Kent (Superman) dynamics that we saw in Man of Steel?

Amy Adams seems to think she and Wonder Woman can have a few scenes together and maybe fight alongside each other on behalf of Superman, who will be once again played by Henry Cavill.

Some seem to be suggesting a love triangle for Lois Lane in Batman vs. Superman, involving Wonder Woman and Superman/Clark Kent.

But considering Wonder Woman, who will be played by Gal Galdot (Fast And Furious 7), is considered to be a feminist and is fighting for peace, love, equality for women, it is not entirely clear that she will be portrayed as Lois Lane’s antagonist in Man Of Steel.

Sure it would be more interesting for the plot, to have both women fighting over our superhero, however, Zack Snyder presented a very strong Lois Lane.

She is a modern, professional reporter who becomes convinced that Superman is a good guy and turns suspicions into certainty when it comes to the man she realizes is there to save them all.

Others believe that Wonder Woman will have limited showing in Batman vs. Superman as we already have Batman, who has also been described as an antagonist of Henry Cavill’s Superman.

Experts seem to think that Wonder Woman will have a brief appearance as a sort of set-up for the much awaited Justice League movie, which includes many DC superheroes.

Amy Adams didn’t seem to be aware of Wonder Woman’s casting in Batman vs. Superman. She told Collider:

“Oh, did they [announce Wonder Woman]? I don’t even know, see? So clearly I’m not the person to talk to (…) Now I know. But that’s awesome. I hope I get a scene with her (…) think we start in February.”

Amy Adams thinks that it’s too early to begin a potential rivalry between Lois Lane and Wonder Woman in Batman vs. Superman, since her relationship with Superman was just starting at the end of Man Of Steel.

When asked by Superhero Type about this topic, Amy Adams says:

“Am I interested [in a Lois-Superman-Wonder Woman love triangle]? I don’t know. I mean, we’ll see. I hope that I can be involved with a woman on screen where we’re not in a love triangle. That would be fun. Maybe where we team up together and we work as teammates instead of adversaries.”

Production for Batman vs. Superman begins in February 2012.
