George Zimmerman: Girlfriend Samantha Scheibe Wants Assault Charges Dropped

George Zimmerman’s girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, has changed her mind about the assault charges.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Zimmerman was arrested following a disturbance call and charged with a felony for allegedly pointing a gun at Scheibe. After the surrendering all of his guns, Zimmerman was released on a $9,000 bail.

During an argument at Ms. Scheibe’s home the original police report records that Zimmerman broke a table with a shotgun and pointed the weapon at her during their argument. After being arrested, George Zimmerman claimed he was not guilty of any of the charges, which included aggravated assault and misdemeanor counts of domestic violence battery and criminal mischief.

And now it seems his girlfriend is agreeing with him:

“I believe that the police misinterpreted me and that I may have misspoken about certain facts in my statement to the police. I do not feel that the arrest report accurately recounts what happened…. I do not want George Zimmerman charged. I make this decision freely, knowingly and voluntarily, without any intimidation or undue influences.”

Further, Scheibe says Zimmerman “never pointed a gun at or toward my face in a threatening manner” and she’s not afraid of George “in any manner” and she wants to be back together so they can talk.

George Zimmerman’s 911 calls also offer a differing story. After the dispute was over he called and said his girlfriend was, “for a lack of a better, going crazy on me.” George also claims he never pulled out his gun, which was said to be locked away in a bag, or point it at her face. Samantha Scheibe also called 911 and this is what she’s recorded saying:

“[George Zimmerman is] inside my house breaking all my (things) because I asked him to leave. I’m doing this again? You just broke my glass table. You just broke my sunglasses and you put your gun in my freaking face and told me to get the (expletive) out.”
