Dylan McDermott Takes Role In Ryan Murphy’s ‘American Horror Story’

Dylan McDermott has joined the upcoming cast of Glee creator Ryan Murphy’sAmerican Horror Story. McDermott will play Ben, the husband of Vivien (Connie Britton) and a therapist.

While few details are known about the pilot being created for FX, Murphy says it’s a “subversive take” on the genre of horror which focuses on a couple and their two teenage children who move into a home in San Francisco who was previously owned by “Larry The Burn Guy.”

Also starring is Jessica Lang as McDermott’s next door neighbor who lives with a daughter who has Downs Syndrom. [Deadline]
