Brian The Dog Returning To ‘Family Guy’! How Happy Are You?

Brian the Dog is coming back from the dead!

For all you avid Family Guy fans you have to admit that you shed at least one tear on November 24 when Brian tragically died in the show.

For those of you who did well up when he died fret not! There is hope…

Fox, in their infinite wisdom, have decided that Brian the Dog will feature again in the December 15 episode of Family Guy. When asked, Fox refused to comment on how Brian will rise from the dead.

It also isn’t clear what role Brian The Dog will assume when he returns to Family Guy. What is known is that in an episode this fall Brian falls in love with an avid runner played by Maya Rudolph.

How devastating it was to see in the November 24 episode how poor Brian got run over by a car. Then Stewie was unable to build another time machine to reverse the course of events that led to Brian’s death, making the tragedy even worse.

Steve Callaghan, the producer of the show, said the team thought their storyline would be a funny twist for Family Guy fans:

“We thought it could be a fun way to shake things up. As soon as this idea came up, we started talking about what the next couple episodes could be and we got very excited about the way this change will affect the family dynamics and the characters.”

But not everyone agreed with Callaghan and the direction in which he has taken the show. 125,000 disgruntled Brian The Dog fans have even signed a petition to bring him back.
