Toshiba Receives “Thrive” Trademark For “Tablet Computer”

Toshiba on Tuesday announced that they have secured the name “Thrive” for an upcoming “tablet computer.” While various names have surrounded the company’s upcoming Android based tablet, it’s now more than likely that the “Toshiba Thrive” will be released upon the masses.

The company has even begun securing various URLs including ToshibaThrive.com and ThriveTablet.com.

The Toshiba tablet includes a 10.1 inch display with 1280 x 600 pixels of resolution with 720p upscaling, a two-megapixel front-facing camera and a primary camera with five-megapixels.

If the “Thrive” is in fact the company’s upcoming Android tablet it is expected to go on sale this May for $450.
