Sandra Bullock has become even more popular this year after her blockbuster movie, Gravity , showed her in a role unlike any other she had taken before. Now, Entertainment Weekly has announced she is one its Entertainers of the Year.
Bullock graces the cover of the magazine for the month of December looking very femme fatale, with red lipstick, a twenties hair do, and a figure-hugging white gown.
Other female artists joining Sandra Bullock in the honors are Jennifer Lawrence, who is consolidating herself as one of the best actresses to come from the US in recent years, and Miley Cyrus, who, well, what can we say that hasn’t already been said – she sells lot of records.
Some of the gents joining Sandra Bullock and company feature the creators of the hit series Breaking Bad , Matthew McConaughey, Tom Hanks, and…Grumpy Cat (?).
Inside the magazine we find an interview the actress did in which she reveals her close relationship with George Clooney that shows us a peek on why these two have been friends for so many years.
Apparently Bullock butt calls Clooney daily. At 3 am!
“I’m so embarrassed for him. It’s a booty call,” she jokes in the piece. “But then he wants the commitment and the marriage and I’m like, ‘Dude, I don’t have the time.’ And he’s all, ‘But I’m not a one-night-stand kind of guy.’ Well, then I can’t.”
Adding, “Drunk-dialing is what it is George. I just need an hour of your time.”
While doing press for Gravity were asked repeatedly if they were an item, but they insist they’re only friends.
Also, during the 2013 BAFTA Britannia Awards, George Clooney put Sandra Bullock to shame when he shared:
“Let me tell you about Sandy. Yeah, she may say that she’s not all that attracted to me. But she calls every night at three in the morning drunk,” Clooney joked. “‘Hey George, what are you doin’?’ Nonstop. And then I just send her a bottle of tequila.”
Speaking seriously, the previously married Sandra Bullock said she is not ready to start dating again, after a very public and humiliating divorce from Jesse James.
“If it should come along, great. But I feel like I’m not missing anything yet. Maybe one day I will. But my son is three years old, which is an amazing age. Four is an even better age. So if something happens, great, but if not, I’ve got plenty to do.”
Do you think Sandra Bullock and George Clooney are just friends or is there perhaps more to their friendship?
