Kimberly Williams-Paisley On Cheating Rumors: ‘Are you serious?’
Kimberly Williams-Paisley is not treating the rumors that her husband is having an affair at all seriously.
The National Enquirer reported that Brad Paisley was indeed cheating with Carrie Underwood, his co-host on the Country Music Awards. Some people have questioned the validity of the report, but the Enquirer has a long track record of breaking scandalous stories that are initially vigorously denied by the parties – and which turn out to be true in the end.
Which is not to say that there is any factual basis for this particular allegation, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley is really laughing the accusation off as absurd.
Kimberley was asked about the rumors at the 5th Annual African Children’s Choir Gala in New York City on Thursday. She said she knew nothing about the claims. A reporter from Us Weekly broke the news to her.
Kimberley’s reaction was, “Am I in the National Enquirer? You’re breaking it to me! What did I do?” She continued, “Are you serious? Wow! I hope it helps our careers! That’s all I can say,”
Kimberly reiterated that the couple’s marriage was not on the rocks. She did admit that both she and Brad had busy schedules that frequently kept them apart but said spending time with each other and their two kids, six-year-old Huck and four-year-old Jasper, was always a priority.
To emphasize her point she said “We have family Sundays together. “We spend as much time as we can. We’re very down-to-earth people. We come from good families, and we appreciate family.”
Kimberly Williams-Paisley at 42 is infatuated with with her husband. Ten years after their wedding she says that they are more in love than ever.
When asked what was Brad’s greatest feature, Kimberley said: “His sense of humor. She said that he made her laugh “not all the time, but when it’s important!”
We can only hope that – this time – The Enquirer has got it wrong, and that the “no smoke without fire” adage does not apply to the marriage of Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
