Eminem and Kim Mathers Back Together? Kim’s Mom Weighs In On Their Reconciliation

Eminem and Kim Mathers are one of those rare couples that keep on finding their way back to each other. Now, according to Kim’s mother Kathy Sluck, the two have one again reunited and have squashed all of their differences.

According to RadarOnline, Kim Mathers’ mother is convinced that the two will get back together now that they have put their differences aside, presumably for their children. Sluck told RadarOnline that the two see each other “all the time” and “get along better than ever.” That said, does that point to a reunion? It may.

Eminem is reportedly building Kim Mathers a mansion that’s close to his home on Mile Road, Macomb, Michigan. That fact alone is a good sign that Eminem may be ready to reconcile with Kim Mathers. If any couple could find a way to get back together, it would certainly be this couple, as they have been through the ringer.

The two have survived drug abuse on both sides, infidelity, and Eminem’s fantasy recounting of killing Kim Mathers in the controversial song “Kim.” The recording featured his alter ego, Slim Shady, locking her in the trunk of his car with their daughter by his side.

Sluck elaborated on just how well Kim Mathers is doing with her life:

“She has been clean all these years, she just takes care of her family. She’s doing very well. I think they might [get back together soon], they get on better than ever.”

Also sounding off on Kim Mathers relationship with Eminem is Kim’s grandmother Marie Hartter. As the grandmother of their daughter Hailie, and adopted daughter of Eminem’s and Kim’s biological daughter Whitney, Hartter believes that Eminem and Kim are going to last forever in one way or another.

“They will probably grow old together one way or another, as much as he says he hates her in his music, he loves her that much too, I feel. I think it’s kind of like throwing gas on the fire. I’ve always felt that that was each of their one true love. I think they met very young, they were together a lot of years, I don’t think she’s ever been with anyone for as long as she’s been with him, whether it’s off and on.”

Kim and Eminem met as teenagers and were married in 1999. The two were later divorced in 2001. By that time, Eminem was a huge celebrity, pulling fans in by the truckload. The two tried to give it another shot and remarried in 2006, but then divorced months after. The last time they were both seen together publicly was when their daughter Hailie was crowned Homecoming Queen at Chippewa Valley High School last month. Eminem reportedly watched it all go down inside the school to avoid a scene.
