Lauren Conrad’s new reality TV show may have been axed by MTV but she’s doing pretty good for herself these days, inking a new three book deal with HarperCollins.
Conrad has already penned the best sellers L.A. Candy and Lauren Conrad Style and now the publisher has picked up the world rights to her Children’s Book series The Fame Game.
In a statement released on Wednesday HarperCollins notes:
“Madison Parker made a name for herself as best frenemy of girl-next-door-turned-reality-celeb Jane Roberts in the ‘L.A. Candy’ books,” while adding, “Now she’s ready for her turn in the spotlight and she’ll stop at nothing to get it. But with backstabbing friends and family, relentless paparazzi, and tabloid scandals she can’t control, Madison is going to have her work cut out for her.”
The first of the three books will arrive Fall 2012.
