Jersey Shore season 4 hasn’t even begun filming in Italy (due to salary contract and location contract issues) and MTV has already jumped on the opportunity to broadcast several spinoff series from Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi and “J-Woww” Farley and another from Pauly D.
The move shouldn’t surprise Snooki fans as she revealed in early 2011 that her and J-Woww were looking to spinoff into their own series and were then spotted filming a pilot for the new show in New York, the hometown city of Jenni.
In the meantime Pauly D will be sampling his beats around the world, although currently he spins every weekend as the house DJ for Palms Las Vegas.
According to Chris Linn, MTV Executive Vice-President of Programming:
“We’re excited to put the spotlight on their lives away from the shore as they pursue their individual passions, careers and relationships. Both series are fun, fresh ways for us to evolve what is an already successful brand for us.”
After the news was announced Snooki tweeted:
“So I can FINALLY Announce..I Got My Own Spinoff! #SnookiRevolution (sic).”
Both shows will end their first season productions by the end of the year and will debut in 2012.
