Justin Timberlake Almost Made Jennifer Lawrence Throw Up
Once upon a time, Justin Timberlake had such a hold on Jennifer Lawrence that she almost tossed her cookies when she finally met him face-to-face.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire star admitted that meeting the ‘N Sync member was almost too much for her to handle. According to E! Online, Lawrence said her encounter with Timberlake was enough to cause the contents of her stomach to get a little rowdy.
Justin Timberlake’s name was recently invoked during Josh Hutcherson and Jennifer Lawrence’s interview with Moviefone. When Hutcherson revealed that he’d love to meet the singer, Lawrence was quick to share this interesting slice of info from her past.
“I met him once, I was backstage and I was just like, ‘Oh my god.’ I almost threw up when I saw him,” Lawrence candidly revealed.
This isn’t the first time the actress professed her love for Justin Timberlake, The Inquisitr previously reported that she had a huge teenage crush on the singer. Just buying one of their CDs was enough for the American Hustle star to experience a rush of emotions.
“My teen crush [was] Justin Timberlake. Early 90s Justin Timberlake. I remember buying the ‘N Sync CD. Remember how CDs had the pull-out picture things? I got so overwhelmed with hormones I almost threw up,” she explained.
Apparently the singer just has that effect on Jennifer Lawrence. Since the actress is a little older and wiser, she may not react quite so severely if she met him tomorrow. Then again, her encounter with legendary actor Jack Nicholson was pretty extreme.
When Justin Timberlake isn’t making Jennifer Lawrence almost throw up with his awesomeness, he’s lashing out at critics for writing mean-spirited reviews for his movies and music. In addition to getting less-than-favorable reviews for the second part of the 20/20 Experience, he got raked across the proverbial coals for Runner Runner.
“I feel — literally — like a bunch of people just took a s*** on my face… Where did all this vitriol come from? It’s mean. And I’m not cut out for it,” he explained to GQ magazine.
In other words, Timberlake would greatly appreciate it if you’d cut him a little slack going forward. The actor and singer has a chance to win over critics and fans alike when Joel and Ethan Coen’s Inside Llewyn Davis finally hits theaters across the nation.
