Kate Upton is currently in talks to star in the Entourage movie, according to various reports.
The 21-year-old is allegedly set to feature in the HBO comedy’s feature length cinematic adventure, and she could play the film’s female lead.
The curvy swimsuit model has previously been selected as Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Edition’s cover-girl on two occasions, in the 2012 and 2013 issues.
She hasn’t been offered the role, yet, however she is believed to be in early discussions to join the vast cast. The Entourage movie is set to begin filming next year, and it will see Adam Grenier, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Ferrara, and Jeremy Piven reprise their roles.
Several sources have confirmed that Upton is currently being considered for a role in the movie, with The Wrap stating, “Though Upton has not been formally offered the role yet, she is in early discussions to join the cast, according to sources.”
They then added, “Details of Upton’s potential role are being kept under wraps, though she could be playing the latest love interest of movie star Vincent Chase, who always has a thing for curvy blondes.”
The report did add though that Upton’s representative has denied this rumour, noting, “While a representative for the swimsuit model-turned-actress has denied that any such talks are under way, they acknowledge that there was interest in Upton for the project earlier this year.”
The Entourage movie is being brought to the big screen by Warner Bros., but when they were asked to comment on the matter they denied that she was in talks.
If Upton does star in the Entourage movie it wouldn’t be her first role. The model previously featured in Tower Heist and The Three Stooges in small roles, while she is also set to feature in The Other Woman , which will star Leslie Mann and Cameron Diaz.
Entourage was loosely based around the Hollywood activities of Mark Wahlberg, who works on the show as an executive producer. It revolves around Grenier’s Vince Chase, a burgeoning A-List actor who rises through the Hollywood ranks throughout the series’ eight seasons.
His entourage of friends includes Eric “E” Murphy, Turtle, and his older half-brother, Johnny “Drama” Chase, each of whom adds a daily confusion to his life. As does his agent, Ari Gold, played by Jeremy Piven, who received several Emmy Awards and nominations for his portrayal.
