Elizabeth Banks: On The Red Carpet In Yellow For Movie Premiere
Elizabeth Banks showed up at the Odeon Leicester Square in the heart of London, along with co-stars Jennifer Lawrence and Jena Malone, for the premiere of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire.
Jennifer Lawrence opted for an elegant backless dress in white which featured embellishment’s from the 2013 Christian Dior Couture collection.
Jena Malone arrived in a red hot flapper dress from the Monique Lhuillier collection with lipstick to match. Willow Shields, who was also at the event, wore a sleeveless Emilia Wickstead frock in yellow, accompanied by Aperlai Paris strap heels and Bijoux Heart jewels.
According to many commentators Elizabeth Banks was the one to steal the show with a strapless yellow ball gown from the house of Jason Wu featuring unique side cutouts.
To complement her look Banks sported a Gaydamak handcuff, a ring from Jacob & Co. and some Brian Atwood heels. Her hair, as you can see from the picture, was also a perfect compliment to her attire with a side-parted “updo.”
The men from the movie were also in attendance and for their part also looked pretty good. Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson both looked equally snazzy in their Emporio Armani suits and Jimmy Choo footwear.
Other celebs at the premiere of the movie were Sam Claflin, his wife Laura Haddock, Ashley Roberts and the lovely Ellie Goulding. All of the aforementioned stars looked stunning as it was a very fashion conscious night on the red carpet.
The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is due for general release in America on November 22.
Do you agree with many that Elizabeth Banks looked the most stunning of all the red carpet attendees in her perfectly complimented yellow number? Or do agree with some other commentators that yellow is hard color to pull off no matter how good looking you are?
