Chris Hemsworth Doesn’t Want To Hear Your Lame Thor Jokes [Video]
Chris Hemsworth may appreciate his fans, but he doesn’t want to hear their lame Thor jokes.
The hunky Australian actor recently appeared on Conan O’Brien’s chat show to discuss Alan Taylor’s superhero epic Thor: The Dark World. During his chat, Hemsworth discussed the downside to playing the character on the big screen.
The actor admitted that some of the puns and artwork he sees on the internet are quite amusing. However, there’s one joke in particular that he’s heard at least “300 times.” It’s a pretty tired joke, and it’s easy to understand why he thinks it’s worn out its welcome.
Here’s the rib tickler that Chris Hemsworth doesn’t want to hear anymore:
“So basically Thor meets this young maiden and they sleep with one another, have a wonderful night. The next morning, Thor says, ‘Fair maiden, I must confess and tell you who I am: I’m Thor.’ And she says, ‘You’re thor? I can hardly walk!'”
There you have it. This doesn’t mean you can’t discuss Thor with Hemsworth should you bump into him on the street. He might even get a kick out of the image of his visage you decided to get permanently applied on your shoulder. Whatever you do, give the guy a break when it comes to this joke. He really doesn’t think it’s funny anymore.
Unfortunately for Chris Hemsworth, those corny Thor jokes are probably going to stick around for quite some time. The Inquisitr previously reported that Thor 2 should cross the $300 million mark globally by this Sunday. This means Marvel could put together another solo adventure at some point down the road.
When fans asked Marvel Studio’s Kevin Feige about Loki’s next appearance on the big screen, he revealed that producers were waiting to see how well the sequel performed in theaters before considering another go-around. Judging from early reports, Marvel and Disney have absolutely nothing to worry about.
“Yeah, I don’t think it would be before ‘Thor 3? if there is a ‘Thor 3? and while we certainly have ideas of where we would like that to go, there are no specifics. We have to see how this one does and then go from there,” Feige recently explained to Slashfilm.

Fans of Chris Hemsworth can check out Thor: The Dark World in theaters right now. While you’re watching the flick, try to come up with some jokes that aren’t as lame as the one you just read about. Do it for Chris Hemsworth.
