Johnny Galecki Opens Up About His Relationship Kaley Cuoco

Johnny Galecki doesn’t think of Kaley Cuoco as his ex-girlfriend. Although the two are no longer dating, the Big Bang Theory star said the actress is still very much a part of his life.

The actor revealed that he doesn’t talk a lot about his relationship with Cuoco because he’s worried it will change the way people see his character on the sitcom. Instead of messing with the minds of viewers at home, Galecki said he just doesn’t discuss their past romance.

“We’re dear friends, still. Kaley’s not just an ex, she’s a part of my life. just don’t like to speak about it. And not because I’m trying to be enigmatic; I just worry that it will conflict with people’s acceptance of Leonard and Penny. “I get the curiosity, but I don’t want to distract from the story,” Galecki told CBS Watch! magazine.

Proving that Johnny Galecki has nothing but love for Kaley Cuoco, the actor said last month that he was “very happy” about her engagement to Ryan Sweeting.

“She’s very happy, which makes me terribly happy,” he told E! Online at the L.A. premiere of CBGB.

Although Cuoco’s engagement to Sweeting caught the entire world by surprise, Galecki revealed that he wasn’t shocked when he learned that the two were getting ready to tie the proverbial knot.

“I don’t think any of us in the cast make any sort of… I don’t think we surprise each other anymore at all,” the actor explained to the celebrity news outlet.

Kaley Cuoco opened up about the secret relationship with her Big Bang Theory co-star during an interview back in 2010. Although the pair dated for roughly two years, they managed to keep everything hidden away from the prying eyes of the general public.

“We dated for almost two years. It was such a huge part of my life and no one knew about it. This is the first time I’ve ever talked about it, ever. It was a wonderful relationship, but we never spoke a word about it and never went anywhere together,” the actress explained.

As for tennis player Ryan Sweeting, Cuoco said she knew from “day one” that he was the right guy. This explains why the actress was so eager to get married.

“We have all the same family friends. We grew up with the same people, we just never met. So I kind of feel that I’ve known him my whole life. I know that it seems a little crazy on paper, but it’s what works for us,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
