Justin Bieber Cuts Brazil Show Short After Water Bottle Thrown
An upset Justin Bieber left the stage early at his São Paulo, Brazil show on Saturday after he was hit by a water bottle.
The incident happened during the last segment of the 19-year-old’s show when he typically sings “Boyfriend” before segueing into his signature 2010 hit “Baby.”
On Saturday, Justin was singing the final notes of “Boyfriend” when a water bottle thrown onstage by someone in the audience impacted the heartthrob’s upper arm.
The shocked singer immediately looked into the crowd as the bottle knocked a mic from his hand. He then walked off stage.
As a result of the water bottle throwing, Justin did not perform his traditional last song “Baby” and reportedly left the Anhembi Convention Center venue shortly afterwards.
The Daily Star reports Felipe Gladiador, who was reviewing the show for Brazil’s G7 website, said:
“The scene was so shocking that even his dancers couldn’t believe what they had seen.”
“The fans didn’t know what was going on and stayed in their seats half an hour, hoping that he would come back to finish the show.”
He added, “The public called for him, sang ‘Baby,’ and yet nothing. The lights came on, Bieber’s team started to take the equipment away and the fans realized it wasn’t going to happen. In the end there was no farewell, no thanks and no rendition of his most famous song.”
However, some fans dispute claims the Canadian singer “kicked a Brazilian flag” at the show.
IQ spoke to a fan, known as @jbislegend, who attended the São Paulo concert who told us,
“He [Bieber] did not kick the Brazilian flag. When he came out for ‘Boyfriend’ he was holding a flag then he put it on the ground.”

On Friday (Nov. 1), the “Heartbreaker” star was snapped leaving the Centauros brothel in Rio de Janeiro.
According to multiple reports and photos which revealed Bieber’s left wrist tattoo the singer left the establishment after a “three hour” stay with a friend, with his security team covering him in a bed sheet.
Paparazzi waiting outside took pictures of his exit and reportedly “confirmed” that it was the singer with his bodyguards.
Justin was reportedly escorted to a waiting SUV while two females allegedly from the brothel, were driven in a separate transport to the singer’s hotel. As yet, Justin’s rep has declined to comment.
Bieber is set to perform in Rio de Janeiro on Sunday. Fan have been queuing since early morning while around 150 die-hards fan have camped out 50 days before tonight’s show to get good spots at the show.
The teen singer shortly moves on to Paraguay, Argentina, Chile and Mexico before kicking off the final Australasia leg of his Believe world tour.
