Mick Jagger Hit On Katy Perry? Rolling Stones Singer Says Perry Was Teenage Dreaming
Mick Jagger has been with plenty of women in his life but Katy Perry isn’t one of them.
The Rolling Stones frontman denied a rumor today which stated that he had hit on Katy Perry when she was 18.
Perry was on an Australian radio show this week and told the DJ that she met Jagger in 2004 when the rocker was recording the song “Old Habits Die Hard.” Perry sang back up vocals on the track and reportedly made an impression on Jagger.
Perry said that the Rolling Stones singer invited her out to dinner and “hit on me when I was 18.”
A representative for the singer denied the claim saying that Perry mus have been thinking of another legendary musician.
The rep said: (Mick Jagger) categorically denies that he has ever made a pass at Katy Perry… Perhaps she is confusing him with someone else.”
Mick Jagger has a reputation for being a bit of a lady’s man. A biographer estimated last year that the Rolling Stones frontman has slept with more than 4000 women.
Biographer Chris Andersen said: “Mick Jagger has slept with 4,000 women over the course of his life, and in retrospect, I think that might be kind of a low figure.”
It isn’t too hard to imagine Jagger hitting on a young singer but, according to a rep, that young singer was never Katy Perry.
Regardless, the two have formed a nice professional relationship. Katy even joined Mick on stage this year during the Rolling Stones tour.
