Kate Middleton And Prince William Buy $2,350 Stroller For Prince George
Prince George is rolling around in a $2,350 stroller courtesy of Kate Middleton and Prince William. The young royals parents dropped the stack of cash on a Silver Cross stroller.
A representative from the stroller company tells E! Online:
“For many years, Silver Cross have provided royalty across the world with their prams and are delighted that the Duke and Duchess have chosen the premier British brand for Prince George.” The statement continues, “With over 130 years experience in manufacturing prams we are certain the Prince will enjoy his Silver Cross.”
According to Us Weekly Prince George will be cruising around in the company’s Balmoral model, which retails for $2,350.
The Silver Cross website calls the stroller “simply the Rolls Royce of prams.” The product description continues: “This stunning pram is the perfect example of stately elegance and noble good looks, teamed with masterful engineering.” The pram also features “a reclining hood, matching protective apron, leather harness and a chrome shopping basket.”
The stroller was purchased just after the royal family gathered for Prince George’s christening at St. James’ Palace. Prince George was baptized by the Archbishop of Canterbury and has seven godparents: Oliver Baker, Emilia Jardine-Paterson, Earl “Hugh” Grosvenor, Jamie Lowther-Pinkerton, Julia Samuel, Zara Tindall and William van Cutsem.
We can’t say we are surprised by the lavish purchase, the royal family are no strangers to exactly these type of items.
In the meantime Kate Middleton and Prince William continue to release new photos of their newborn baby and happy family.
Such a nice stroller will come in handy as Kate Middleton attends various gala’s for women’s charities, an activity she has continued to enjoy since the birth of her first child.
Do you think spending $2,350 on a very lavish Silver Cross Balmoral stroller is nothing more than a status symbol buy?
