Justin Bieber Gets Hardcore Advice In New ‘Believe’ Clip: ‘Don’t F_K It Up’
Justin Bieber has been on the receiving end of advice from a cast of thousands this year, and in the latest Believe movie-documentary teaser he gets a load more.
However, this time it’s not coming from randoms ranting online, or celebrity snark from the likes of Sharon Osbourne, Jon Bon Jovi, Vanilla Ice and others, or even friendlier voices such as will.i. am, Will Smith, and Mark Wahlberg, to name a few.
Announcing the “#Advice” teaser on Twitter earlier, Bieber wrote, “If u have a team that loves u u will always be ok (sic).”
And it is his team that features in the third Believe snippet. Arriving amid reports of the Canadian’s shirtless visit to a Texas strip club and alleged underage drinking, many may scoff at some of the suggestions heard.
But it’s worth noting these are the people who have known the 19-year-old for years and possibly have a more informed take on the context and facts behind screaming headlines.
“Justin, I’m so proud of you, and you are turning into an amazing young man,” his mother, Pattie Mallette says, over an opening backstage glimpse of the pop star getting strapped into the wings used in his Believe show entrances backdropped by his “Beautiful” duet with Carly Rae Jepsen.
Up next, Usher, R&B superstar, Bieber mentor, and one of the two men who saw potential in the YouTube sensation back in 2007 before power-broking his eventual signing to Island Def Jam.
“When I first met you I told you,’You could have all of this if you believe in it,'” the 35-year-old says, adding with a note of steel, “Now it’s happened. Don’t f_k it up.”
Producer-songwriter Rodney Jerkins — a four-times Grammy award winner whose credits include Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Brandy and Britney Spears, offers: “Don’t fall off that wagon bro, make sure you stay humble.”
Allison Kaye (m. Scarinzi), longtime member of Braun’s management team says, “I think it’s really important for anyone in Justin’s position to have people in their lives that are honest with them, and know is good.”
Former swagger coach, Ryan Good, delivered his contribution with Bieber sitting next to him.
“My advice is just to always just try to be the best person that you can be,” adding,”Stop worrying about being the voice of a generation.”
Manager Scooter Braun said,”I just hope he ends up being a happy, kind, content person.”
The last shot went to Bieber’s father, Jeremy, seen with his children and the singer’s step-siblings, Jaxon, 3, and Jazmyn, 5, who are, of course, cute as.

Believe is directed by Jon M. Chu, who also helmed Justin’s first feature Never Say Never (2011), and will mix tour footage, candid material and interviews. The film opens nationwide in the US on Christmas Day.
As promised, “#Advice” is an exchange with fans for driving Bieber’s latest Music Mondays singles — “Hold Tight” and a feature on Young Money rapper Tyga’s “Wait For A Minute” — into the Top Five on multiple iTunes charts. Both songs delivered No.1’s.
While the Believe movie is intended to address Bieber’s bruising year of incidents, rumors and bad press, the pop prince recently reassured fans it will also entertain.
