Shailene Woodley Injured, Scarred On Set Of ‘Divergent’ Movie

Shailene Woodley was injured and scarred in the filming of the Divergent movie.

As previously reported by The Inquisitr, Shailene Woodley has a starring role in Divergent, which sounds a lot like Hunger Games since it’s set in a future world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities.

The action scenes must be quite something because Shailene Woodley recalls some “crazy stuff” where she got “really hurt.” One of the Divergent movie photos portray Shailene Woodley as being lined up in front of a wooden target only to have knives thrown at her.

Fortunately, Shailene Woodley’s injury may have left some scars but she’s able to be happy about it now:

“I have a scar on my chest [and] a scar on my hip, but all good battle wounds. It’s so much fun! And they’ll go away in like five years. The cool thing is I got to do some stunts and that never happens. I feel so cool about it.”

Shailene Woodley says she managed to get a few hernias although she admits “it was partly my fault from the amount of stress.”

This is not Shailene Woodley’s first brush with death and danger on the set of a movie film. Earlier this year, Shailene Woodley was almost crushed by a falling car on the set of The Amazing Spiderman 2, where she’s portraying the latest version of Mary Jane.

Car-related accidents seems to be a big thing in Hollywood this year. For example, Jason Statham almost died when the truck he was in accidentally fell into the ocean.
