Oh, ALSO, fun Super Mario Bros . trivia, because it seems to fit here: the game’s sound engineer Koji Kondo recently revealed how he recycled the same sound in the game for different actions, to save memory on the NES cartridge. So the ‘CHUNG-CHUNG-CHUNG!’ sound of Mario being hit by an enemy is the same as when our hero enters a pipe:
