Former porn star Jenna Jameson had a two-segment interview abruptly axed Monday due to slurring of words, bizarre answers, and the possibility that she had a few too many mimosas with breakfast.
Jameson was on “Good Day New York” for a live interview with co-hosts Greg Kelly and Rosanna Scotto to promote her new book Sugar . The 39-year-old, in case you didn’t know, has quit porn to pursue a career in erotic novel writing.
Anyway, TMZ ‘s sources say that Jameson was booked for two segments, but that she was cut off after just four minutes due to her strange behavior. She paused, slurred, and flat-rejoindered her way through her time before ultimately getting the boot during a commercial break.
As a for-instance, here’s how she described Sugar:
“It’s about me. I didn’t want it to be exact of what I’ve always done, so I kind of made up a fantastic, yummy story.”
Consequently, the show’s producers didn’t get it to be exact of what they wanted, so they cut her off.
During the interview, Jameson was also asked about her contentious legal battles with ex Tito Ortiz , who has recently secured full custody of the former couple’s twin four-year-old sons, Jesse and Journey. She dodged the issue with Kelly and Scotto, saying “everything is going well. It’s going well. Yeah, everything is going to go okay.”
This is quite the turnaround from a handful of tweets she posted last week:
“So why hasn’t Tito let me FaceTime my babies at all? I will post ALL is his texts very soon…. All I want is to see my babies. I’m done with this, but I am going to show his truth. He knows down deep inside how often he cheated, and abused me. My boys need me. Period,” she wrote in the first of a series of tweets.
